MULTI SEASONAL – From summer right up to winter, the Cape adapts to any weather, mood or occasion – your trusted friend for all four seasons.
VERSATILE – Wear it short and casual, like a vest for warmth or styled like a dress by flipping over and wearing it long – from a relaxed morning at home to busy business meetings to a fun evening out, you have 15 (and more) ways to stay stylish.
UNIQUE – Your Cape is one of its kind. Designed in Amsterdam and handmade in small batches by 15 Himalayan artisans using locally sourced wool, each piece is made special with just the right amount of human imperfection.
The Cape Tokyo is inspired by the fresh colours of the Cherry Blossom tree – with shades of pink and peachy salmon on a creamy white, brown and black base. Soft and feminine, this Cape can be paired easily with tones of brown, white, pink, indigo and camel.
Sustainable both in design and how it’s been created, this one garment transforms into several.
Poncho + vest + shawl + scarf + cover-up + dress + jacket + wrap = KARIGAR Cape.
Each piece is handmade from start to finish by 15 Himalayan artisans on a traditional weaving loom using pure wool.

Our mission is to bring high fashion by rural artisans to people everywhere.
We want people to look and feel special when they wear a KARIGAR product. However, we also love our environment and make responsible choices at every step of our creation process, from sourcing the raw materials to ensuring that the water, post-dyeing, is disposed safely.
It takes a lot more than travelling to the source to create fashion. We speak the subtle language of design translation and before every new crafting process, we train our artisan partners on what a beautiful product looks like in the eyes of an international customer.
The importance of standardisation, knowing international quality requirements and an eye for colour and detail are the skills that take them far for the rest of their working life.
